Tests exchange synthetic bytes directly with Xunglee Server. In a split deployment, the measurement node is separate from the interface server, under the same Xunglee operator. PHP does not save uploaded payloads or test results. To limit abuse, the server temporarily stores an IP-derived HMAC (not the original IP), test-start times, used tokens and transfer reservations. Visitor counters expire after 15 minutes, tokens after 10 minutes, runs after 90 seconds and transfer reservations after 40 seconds. Expired entries are removed on the next API request or scheduled cleanup. The daily byte counter is global and resets at midnight UTC. Hosting access/security logs may independently contain IP addresses. Optional history stores only up to 20 aggregate results in your browser, when you press Save. Clear history removes them.
